If a loose connection is found, reconnect it firmly and check the pins and sockets for deformation or oxidation. If necessary, use professional tools to repair or replace them. 3. Insulation Performance Inspection
Insulation performance is a key indicator of the wiring harness's safety. Use a professional insulation resistance tester to check the insulation resistance of the wiring harness. Set the appropriate test voltage according to the agricultural machinery's user manual and measure the insulation resistance values between different sections of the harness. If the insulation resistance value falls below the specified standard, it indicates degraded insulation performance and a potential risk of electrical leakage. In such cases, promptly identify the cause—such as moisture in the harness or aging insulation—and take appropriate measures, such as drying or replacing the harness.
